“We got our first IW in the middle of the sixties. In 1976 we bought a puppy from Erindale Kennel named Erindale O’Brian Laird, and later Erindale Lorimar, Kelly and Sadie. My husband and I started breeding Irish Wolfhounds under the kennel name ARD RI.

We bred a great number of well known champions like multi Ch and Worldwinner Ard Ri Aloha, Multi Ch. Ard Ri Boogie, Gillie, Jody, Emerson – and many others.

Helga Müller from Temhair Iws wrote an Ard Ri kennel history report at Internet:

At the same time, for more than ten years I was in the DWZRV board of the district North Rhine Westfalia as a secretary.

In 1990 I became a special judge for Irish Wolfhounds, Deerhounds, Adghan Hounds and Salukis.

After judging a number of shows on CC level in Northern Ireland, France, Sweden, Finland, Netherland and more, we went to Spain in 1999. When we came back to Germany in 2010 I completed the FCI Group 10 and the mediterranian from group 5.

It is a great honour to be invited to judge at the Irish Wolfhound on the Border Show in Norway and Sweden in 2018.”
